SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it is alarmed concerning the substantial number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior here number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie here and there's no fully functional office read more dedicated to service the area every day.
